An independent state, New Zealand has been a member of the Commonwealth of Nations since 1931. The head of state is the Sovereign of Great Britain who delegates authority through a Governor General appointed by the Government.
There are New Zealand rugby teams and netball teams. There are the New Zealand All Blacks and the New Zealand Warriors in NRL. In netball, there is a New Zealand team called the Silver Fins. There are all kinds of cities in New Zealand like Christchurch, Auckland, Hamilton, Russell and Gisborne. The capital is Wellington.
